I tried asking a question, but it did not show up!

This usually happens when you do not have enough balance. The ask a question box will show you an error in this case. Another possibility is that your question might not have been submitted. Open Kalutasan in a new browser window and see if your question is posted. If not, try submitting it again.

How are my earnings calculated?

When you register with Kalutasan, you are credited with $1.00. For each answer you post to a question you earn $0.01 to $0.03 depending on your post quality. For every answer to a question asked by you earns $0.01. For every question that you ask $0.01 is deducted from your account.

When do I get paid?

You can request a payout as soon as you reach $15. The request payout link will automatically be displayed on the payout page in such a case. When you request a payout, we check each of your question, and answers, to check for abuse of the system. Once that is over your payout is made. This may take from 2-7 bussiness days.

I requested a payout, and I was told I have insufficient funds!

When you request a payout, your questions and answers are monitored to check for system abuse. If any irrelevant questions or answers are found, your earnings are changed accordingly. This results in your earnings to fall short.

Do I get my $0.01 back for an irrelevant question?

No. To prevent users from asking irrelevant questions the $0.01 for an irrelevant question is not returned.

I answered an irrelevant question, now?

Sorry but your earnings from that question will be deducted.

How can I use advanced search?

This is the list of parameters you can use to refine your search results,
qby:username - This will enable you to search for questions by 'username'
aby:username - This will enable you to search for answers by 'username'
after:date - will show results after 'date'.
before:date - will show results before date
The 'date' should not include any space character. For example 31 august 2009 is wrong, but 31aug2009 is correct. Also note that 31/8/2009, is incorrect; but 8/31/2009 is correct.

Is there a referal system here?

Yes indeed! You also get paid for every user you refer to Kalutasan! When a refered user requests their payout, you, the referer, earns 10% of their payout amount!!!

What is Theft System?

Theft System is a new fun game, where you can try stealing a user or his money.

What do I need to do to use this feature?

You just need to click on a user's avatar.

How does it work?

You can steal a maximum of 5 times per day. You can be robbed a maximum of 5 times per day. You can rob a user maximum 5 times per day. You can rob only 50% of the money a user has. You need to have atleast the same amount of money as you are trying to rob from a user. There is a 40% chance on success rate.

Will I lose anything if I lose?

Yes. You will lose the same amount of money as you put the stakes on. In the event of successful heist, you will be credited the same amount.

How to earn?

  • Earn $0.01 for every answer to your question
  • Each question costs $0.01
